Promotional Campaigns

Saffron Insurance is a regional insurance broker based in the Essex town of Saffron Walden. They offer a range of insurance products and services to both personal and commercial clients based across East Anglia.

To aid in the future growth of the company, Saffron commissioned us to create a range of overarching campaigns that promote the benefits of their product range and customer service.

The brief required that any new campaign would need to compliment the existing marketing material whilst reinforcing the outward image of the Saffron brand.

The challenge was to create campaigns that engage the customer, help break down stereotypical perceptions of insurance companies, whilst effectively communicating the key selling points of the brand in a memorable way. 

Secondly, how could individual campaigns aimed at personal and commercial clients still retain a clear and consistent delivery of the Saffron brand.

Our solution was a suite of campaigns that could work both online and offline, helping achieve both the short and long term goals of building upon a strong foothold within East Anglia, raising the profile of the Saffron brand and creating a clear point of difference within the marketplace.

This concept builds upon Saffron's dedication to customer service, provided by a team of local, friendly insurance experts.

The campaign headline 'Don't think insurance, think Saffron' reinforces the helpful and hassle-free service Saffron provide, helping take the stress out of buying insurance and leaving you feeling happy and free to enjoy life.

The headline could also be used as a positioning statement for the brand moving forward, allowing Saffron to clearly differentiate themselves from their nearest competitor.

Promotional Campaigns

As a way of engaging both existing and new customers alike, we created a concept for a direct mail campaign that encourages people to send in photo's of themselves looking extremely happy (using the postcard) having bought insurance through Saffron. 

In return for this they have the chance of winning £1,000 (or a years free car or house insurance).

Promotional Campaigns

This concept builds upon Saffron's long standing customer relationships and high retention rate.

The campaign headline 'Large enough to know, small enough to care' helps portray the dual benefits of buying insurance with Saffron - all the knowledge and know-how of a National provider combined with the personal touch of a smaller, locally based company.

As a way of injecting interactivity into the campaign we added QR codes to printed ads, that when scanned with a mobile phone and placed over the customers mouth plays a video testimonial... "Our unrivaled service speaks for itself".
